HOM Mens Underwear - The Story Behind The Designer Underwear Brand


The HOM brand was first established in 1968 in France buy two Marseillians, Charles Belpaume and Gilbert Anselme.


This brand continued as an independent brand up until 1986 when it was taken over by Triumph who introduced the phenomenon that is HOM underwear to the world.

This moment changed to world of mens underwear.

No longer were there only boring basics on the market.

Now there were stylish, sexy designer mens underwear that gave womens lingerie a run for it’s money.

The next pivotal moment in the HOM underwear world was to come in 1997 when the HO1, the first horizontal opening brief was introduced.

This was seen as a revolutionary move by the fashion world in general and has lead to The Fashion Museum at the Louvre in Paris displays a pair of H01’s in recognition of their innovative design.

Since 1997 the HOM brand has only grown in popularity with fresh new ranges being introduced each year that are always guaranteed to hit the bestsellers.
